As part of an ongoing project at Berlin Community Radio, Welcome To Berlin is aimed at introducing up and coming artists based in Berlin, offering them a 360 degree promo pack of a two hour long radio show, professional press photoshoot and feature with i-D Magazine Germany, a full day in a recording studio to work on new music and a remix by a different artist. An interesting an in depth project on Berlin’s newest talent, you can view all three features about the artists who took part in this year’s Welcome To Berlin below – which included Anoitine 93, Blue Hawaii, Deaths, SANO, V and Easter.

The first installment of Welcome To Berlin 2015, Antoine 93 presents impeccable style as he discussed his love for pop music and performed his new track that he created during his time in the recording studio at BCR.

Deaths
“Mute Kids” with a remix by SANO (Cómeme)
Coming in for the second takeover were Deaths. With a dark and haunting aesthetic, the duo were a perfect fit for this year’s BCR project. Known for their amazing live shows, the boys recorded ‘Mute Kids’ with a loud mix by Cómeme’s SANO.

“Kill Me Now” with a remix from Easter
The third and final part of Welcome To Berlin 2015 was V, who is a Berlin-based artist recording and performing solo as well as a member in two bands: Transylvania & Holysix. Her rough and edgy style and strong opinions make her the perfect candidate for this year’s project. You can also now hear her regularly on BCR with her own show every other Tuesday 6-7pm!
