An exhibition till May 5th 2018 at Urban Scents. Between illustration and photography, French artist François Cadière works on his last piece of art: the photographic drawing. The purely figurative imaging of shapes were never satisfying enough for the trained photographer.
In addition to his photographic work, he has already devoted himself to drawing during his apprenticeship and sought a connection between both forms of expression. François Cadière created a new kind of fashion photography by photographing the models with objects he drew.
François commutes between Paris and Berlin, has made numerous exhibitions, most recently at the “Hyères Festival for Fashion and Photography”, and “Maison Heinrich Heine” as well as collaborations with prestigious partners such as the Accor Hotel Group, Louis Vuitton and others. He also taught at the University of the Arts in Berlin.
The exhibition is also the opportunity to experience the olfactive collaboration between François Cadière and the perfumer Marie Le Febvre presenting their ‘VINTAGE COLLECTION’.
A passionate aviator, Parfumeur Créateur Marie Le Febvre is a discoverer of terrae incognitae with her plane just as much as with her senses. Like an infinity-shaped propeller blading through air, Marie pierces through olfactory terrains with her Urban Scents collection and made-to-measure perfume creations, using scent as a key to a journey into the world of the senses.
