Lisboeta Italiano is a photographer based in Lisbon, Portugal. Italiano created a series of nine images, Desire Versus Danger, where he pictured the body’s desire for danger. Model is Pedro Cadilhe.
“Desire is always a lack, a need of something. A negative state implying an impulse for its satisfaction, a void wanting to be filled. Before being found, danger must be feared and foreseen, but, once in it, it can only be despised.The attraction for danger is the root of all the deep passions in men. Desire and danger walk side by side, holding hands.”
