In Electric Chapel we wanted to take from history and present this story shot in its entirety on the island of Puerto Rico, inside what used to be an old 1800’s Catholic Church. The important of the location in this scenario is that in this conservative island, just like many areas in the world toxic hyper masculinity is constantly celebrated while the beauty of the delicate, gentle and arousing boysh form is constantly frowned upon. The story follows Kevin (the model in green body suit as the head of the brothel and Eggie the one on the roof is the host.To the point that these muses and models rarely get the recognition locally they deserve since most of the industry is based on the early nineties macho look in models. In other words nobody is willing to cross gender roles due to the conservative island views and this I’ve heard personally from top designers. In a first and show of the times, top couturiers collaborated with me in this project by allowing the use of their female gowns and garments for the all male story for the first time in their career.” says Adrian Joseph
