ABOUT XCONFESSIONS
XConfessions is an ambitious and trail-blazing project in which Erika Lust asks her fans and followers to anonymously contribute their sex stories. Each month she turns two confessions into beautifully-shot and cinematic erotic films – making this the first crowd-sourced erotic film project in the history of the adult film industry. www.xconfessions.com
ABOUT ERIKA LUST
Erika is an award-winning erotic film director, owner and founder of Erika Lust Films where she offers an alternative to the mainstream porn industry. Erika’s philosophy for a new adult cinema is based on four main ideas: women’s pleasure matters, adult cinema can have cinematic values, we need more body types, different ages and diverse races and the production process has to be ethical. Her films are revolutionising the adult film industry by representing the female viewpoint and featuring passion, intimacy, fantasy, love and lust in sex. She defends the importance of the female gaze and the need of having women behind the camera in all key positions. www.erikalust.com
ABOUT SISYPHOS
Sisyphos throws some of the city’s most unhinged parties, often running from Friday to Monday with no break. Situated close to Ostkreuz in an old DDR dog biscuit factory, Sisyphos has developed into a prestigious club of international standing for electronic music in the capital. Rough and raw industrial architecture blends with the DIY-character of Berlin’s club culture. Bricks, concrete, steel and wood come together, creating a diverse composition that narrates the place’s story and its changing use. The vast exterior space constitutes a natural contrast to the towering building of the former factory. Here, freedom is still to be found and experienced.
