Artists Park (Honarmandan)
This is the hangout for much of Tehran’s art & hipster scene. It’s typically full of young people and art students in the evenings and at the weekend. A great place to come as a tourist if you want to get a real taste of the city’s youth culture. It surrounds a renowned public art gallery as well as a café/restaurant.

The Hipster Cafés
Cafés are the best way for young people in Tehran to get together and the city has some really charming spots if you know where to look. Nazdik Café, Lamiz Café, Sam Café and Café Cinema are the standout places.

SET Experimental Art Events
SET is an artist-run festival in Tehran and one of the only forums to hear underground electronic music live in Iran. The events seem to only take place yearly but if you are there at the right time, this is a must-see.

Live Music – Traditional Concerts
Vahdat Hall, Milad Tower and Roudaki hall are the main spaces to see Iran’s more traditional musical performances. You can buy tickets in advance at
