Exuvie is a stunning photo story shooting by photographer Cao Dien. Exuvie is an empty shell. It is the casting skin, molting animals shed in order to grow. After this process, they are as it were naked. During the reconstruction of a new “armor”, the body is soft and vulnerable. It is the same with the human body who is also soft and sensitive and therefore must be protected and receives this protection through clothing.
Exuvie is an exoskeleton of animals, Which need to go through a shedding process to grow for example Prawns & Crabs. After this process They are literally “naked”. During the reproduction of a new skin Their body will be soft and unsheltered. It is a comparison to the human body, did is soft and sensitive. For this reason our human body need to be covered.
