London Fashion Week. Gareth Pugh is back to London after seven years showing elsewhere and celebrates its 10th anniversary with an impressive show. The show began with a film by long-time collaborator Ruth Hogben, about a women (played by model Aymeline Valade) cutting her hair of, becoming one with the throne and slowly goes up in flames. At the end of the footage warrior Crista came up waving a red flag. And then an army of warrior women ran down the runway presenting the Fall Winter 2015 collection in fascinating all-black.
Inspired by Queen Elizabeth, the most powerful woman in British history we see the references clear in this collection which is unusual for Gareth Pugh, portabel.
