I adore Hedi Slimane. I love his work as a designer but I love even more his photography. A modern icon in the fashion world. Vogue Hommes Japan’s 9th issue finds an editorial presented and executed from still freshly-minted creative head of Saint Laurent Paris, Hedi Slimane.
Utilizing model Gryphon O’Shea, the editorial is a mixture of stark black-and-white images along with saturated color offerings – with styling duties handled by Nicola Formichetti.
Playing with a variety of textured and bespoke items, the ensuing spread finds Slimane adding a touch of edge to a brand he is looking to add his creative mark to.
