HOUSEKEEPING’s Top 5

London-based DJ collective and label bosses HOUSEKEEPING have created one of the most exciting brands in house music today. Having captivated audiences with their deep and hypnotic sets fused with tribal percussive elements, 2018 is set to be a fantastic year for the label who start their prestigious weekly residency at Black Coffee Saturdays at Hï Ibiza from May. In July, HOUSEKEEPING will host their own room at Fabric London for Forms, with Pan-Pot also on the bill that evening. To celebrate this and the release of the ‘Mugabe Out’ EP, founding member Jacobi selects his Top 5 tracks of Ibiza 2018.

Armonica, Toshi – ‘Ngeke’ (andhim Remix)

“With the rise of Afro House pioneered by Black Coffee, this track will be heard everywhere this summer. Light summer vibes with an original sound.”

Silvano Del Gado – ‘From Jamaica to Brazil’

“This percussion has sick energy. I have already played it at Hï Ibiza this summer and have seen its groove rock the dancefloor.”

Oscar P, FNX OMAR- ‘Filtered African Blues’ (FNX OMAR Remix)

“Another track with strong African influences, hence the title. For me, the electric guitar towards the end is unexpected but makes this track something special.”

Lee Cabrera vs Thomas Gold – ‘Shake it’ (Nic Fanciulli Edit)

“Love what Nic has done to this track. I know it will make a mark on the summer.”

Energy 52 – ‘Cafe del Mar’ (Tale of Us Remix)

“Old classic that the boys at Tale of Us have brought to life and I’m sure you’ll be hearing it on Thursday nights at Hï for Afterlife a lot.”

‘Mugabe Out’ EP is out now on HOUSEKEEPING Records
