” This editorial tells about the Czech borderland and the secret life of prisoners hidden in front of the public. In the Second World War, the German Army built a prison camp for the Czech, Russian and French prisoners in the Krušnohorské foothills, forced them to work on heavy metal extraction under the Nazi regime. The editorial is working on this fragile historical theme, which also comments on current political developments. It also depicts the position in the past/present society (“master and slave”), such as F. Nietzsche theories. It can touch themes as well like moral struggle between archetypes, suppressed homosexuality or identity cover (dual identity with mask). The editorial have an intense feeling of unease, and beyond the fashionable intentions of the documentary genre.” – Stan Gomov
