My night of my life – Birthday BBQ with friends..
Last summer my friends surprised me with a party for my birthday at Mauerpark and then some karaoke. Gosh we had so much fun! Singing and dancing all day long in the park. And you need to know I normally hate karaoke. When I arrived at the park I saw all of my friends sitting around the BBQ – close friends, work mates and family. When they saw me everybody stood up, holding a bottle of Beck’s and started singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to me, which was already a big surprise. But this was not all. After some drinks my best friend said, “Now it’s time for karaoke!” And I thought, “Oh no, this is going to be a bad day.” So I had a couple more Beck’s and for sure I was the first one who has to sing. I chose Britney Spear´s “Oops I did it again”, and this was only the beginning. I went on with Mariah, Whitney, Katy and all the other pop girls. At the end of the night we all were dancing into the sunset. Singing, shouting, dancing until the morning came. Every time I am driving through the Mauerpark in Berlin I remember that night. The night of my life with my friends. And every time I open a bottle of Beck’s I start singing.. ” Oops I did it again”.
