I am now based in Milan since 2012 but always traveling. I started to take pictures at thirteen years old, I am completely self-taught. I am very attached to the past. I am fascinated by all that has lived, that time he scored and that’s what we can see in most of my pictures. We made this artistic photo editorial in a very antique palazzo in the center of Milan with two models. The location is the powerful protagonist. We wanted to create a contrast between the very rich interiors and the simplicity of the model’s bodies to make them look like marble statues that come to life, like they are part of it.” says Alexia Mariani.
