Madrid! 08–09.06.18 – Paraíso festival: Electronic music and other arts

It’s gonna be a hot summer! Paraíso confirmed Róisín Murphy, Hot Chip Megamix, Apparat, Tom Trago, Tune-Yards, Black Coffee and Petit Biscuit for its first edition. With electronic music as its leitmotiv, Paraíso 2018 will take place on June 8th and 9th in Madrid: music, art installations, rest areas, fine food and gaming area.

The first edition of Paraíso, the new festival that will break into the Madrid scene next June 8th and 9th at the Complutense University Campus, is approaching. Electronic music and other arts coalesce in this festival to offer a unique experience in which every detail will be taken great care of.

The Paraíso lineup is almost complete with new confirmed artists, such as the very young Petit Biscuit (France), who will be visiting our country for the first time to present a happy sound explosion full of sweetness with his combination of beats, which represent the chillest side of electronica. DJ and producer Black Coffee (South Africa), one of the most sought-after names on the international club scene, arrives in Paraíso after taking his country’s musical tradition to the top of the international scene with an elegant and futuristic deep house. Two local artists from the Madrid scene join this new lineup preview. The Delaporte duo enter the list of Paraíso performers with a tremendously addictive and irresistible live show. Former The Zombie Kids Cumhur Jay, one of the most promising artists of Spain’s experimental techno, will bring to Paraíso a live performance both jagged and exquisite.

 

These new names add to a lineup formed by artists from more than 15 countries: Acid Pauli, Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons, Apparat, Awwz, Floating Points, Dekmantel Soundsystem, DJ Tennis, El Búho, Gerd Janson, Guy Gerber, Henry Saiz & Band, Hot Chip Megamix, Hunee, Larry Heard aka Mr. Fingers, HVOB, Ibeyi, Jamie Tiller, Kalabrese, Kelly Lee Owens, Kiasmos, Lovebirds, Mateo Kingman, Palms Trax, Danny L Harle, Rodriguez Jr. & Liset Alea, Róisín Murphy, Sahalé, Tom Trago, Tako, Yaeji and Yanik Park.

Soon other proposals will be unveiled, such as art installations, gaming area or foooptions, as well as the last two confirmed artists that will complete this first edition’s lineup.
