Poland born photographer Pola Esther is sharing her “Photo Journal” with us. We at KALTBLUT are big fans of her work and it is our pleasure to show the story to you. Pola says: “My lover, painter Brian Keith Stephens and I have spend a month in Polkovnik Serafimovo. A Bulgarian village in Rhodope Mountains participating in artist in residency program (organized by the Griffis Art Fund from the States and the Orpheus Foundation from Bulgaria).

It somehow felt like traveling back in time, finding 100 years old Adam and Eve who never ate of the tree of good and evil… still living of the land. Among other creatures and animals also inside us! Anyways it was paradisal.”
