Maya Postepski, known to most as a member of Austra and Trust, has adopted the name Princess Century for her latest project, and we have an early listen of her debut EP Lossy for you! The Toronto-based musician is well known for some of her remix and DJ work, experimenting with electronic sounds, which are more than evident during Lossy. Her three track compilation allows listeners a blend of “minimalist cosmic disco psychedelia” and “glacial poly-rhythmic territories soaked in dark dripping goo.” Lossy is now available digitally and on vinyl as of August 14 via Paper Bag Records, with a full-length album expected to follow sometime soon.
