Raf Simons x Fred Perry – European subculture and the energy of youth.

Fred Perry launches a new collection on February 15 in cooperation with the Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons. Inspired by the subculture and the energy of youth, Raf Simons brings his signature style to classic Fred Perry parts and adds detail while retaining the DIY character of punk dressing: the tape is deliberately not worn on collars, side seams and under the laurel wreath symmetrically mounted. For spring of 2018, Fred Perry continues to work with director Sharna Osborne to produce a video look book. Artist Patrick Waugh was commissioned to create collage graphics. “Dress codes and gestures and attitudes have always inspired me, as have youth cultures in general” – Raf Simons

When I started out, I focused on youth and subcultures, and Fred Perry was one of my many inspirations.
