The cause are the references/layers to the things (news layer) that go the wrong way in our society right here right now. Most recent event are the attacts in Paris. But there are lots of other crucial issues. Neo capitalism enslaves the working class. Politics are controlled by big companies in favor of their shareholders. Stock market games on the back of the people doing the work (thats why I chose the denim, it is THE workers look) and exploiting the ecosystem by using up 1,5 earth’s a year. What nutrition giants like Nestle do to poison us not to mention. It´s scary and disturbing things happening these days and one can be easily intimidated by them. Or overwhelmed, feel powerless, become paralysed and stick the head in the sand. It´s not always easy to see, keep the spirits up and dive through it by being part of a change.

The REBELS tear that wall of distress down that´s been build of supersized self defense out of fear & distress. They got their eyes open, see what´s going on around them and overcome fear and misery consciously. Not ignorance but by reflection and choice! They´re real, they are here to be seen, they provoke, force us to see them and most of all: They understand that we need to stand united if we actually want to succeed in changing things.
The tool to transmit the messages are international newspapers with headlines and lead articles on recent dramatic events. Stuck on them are both critical poses and messages as well as peacefull ones. The later are designed to provide answers on how to face things in general. In unity, with peaceful attitude, a strong will to act.
