Dag Knudsen is a Norwegian photographer. In 2017 Knudsen exhibited his series Symmetricat, which consists of 12 symmetric portraits of Sphynx hairless cats, in Oslo, Miami and New York City. Knudsen has been working with symmetry as a effect for over a decade. He produced this series with the working title Symmetridog for an upcoming exhibition in Chicago. Both series are part of an even larger project that will be launch after summer. All the dogs are photographed in Knudsen’s studio on a hand painted color backdrop. ” No animals or owners were hurt in the process but I can tell you that bribes were made. Mostly with the dogs.”
