Photographer Joanna Wolak shot editorial The Golden Echo to explore her love for bright colours and the energy they bring. The photo shoot took place in a studio in London using a mix of vintage and contemporary brands to add a bit of a retro feel to it.
Joanna is originally from Poland. She has always been interested in visual arts. She studied architecture back there but soon realised that she felt more excited about people than buildings so she decided to move to Scotland where she started studying photography and graduated.
Currently Joanna is living and working in London, as it’s the place where everything is happening. In her photography Joanna was always focused on portraiture and she developed a great passion for fashion photography. She takes inspirations from cinema, literature and pretty much everything around her. Joanna loves colour and images that tell a story.
