Gretchin is a London based singer/songwriter. Introducing an alternative electronic-pop style, her sound takes influence from soul and R&B, approached with a contemporary mindset. Her first single ‘The Thread’ was released in late 2016. Since then Gretchin has been honing in on her sound, writing and recording and bringing her music to a live setting. ‘Not You’ is her second release, produced by Ed Cook, with a dark pop and R&B vibe, it is an honest account of one relationship coming to an end as another begins.
Pop songs are usually from the perspective of the one whose heart has been broken. This song is the reverse of that, it’s a really honest account of what it’s like to fall out of love with someone and break their heart.
