Travel to another galaxy with Jadu Heart’s ‘Ezra’s Garden’

Jadu Heart announce the release of a series of music videos directed by artist Georgie Brinkman for their latest EP Ezra’s Garden. The videos are a result of a close creative collaboration over six weeks between the artists. Georgie produced the videos with the assistance of Alex Wight (who together form art collective ZOOX) and Jadu Heart’s art director Jack Headford. The videos offer the artists’ interpretation of an unreleased story written by Jadu Heart to accompany Ezra’s Garden. The story takes the form of an 80s-inspired sci-fi tale, which provides the foundation for the artists’ videos. Inline with this 80s, DIY ethos, the videos were all filmed and edited in the artists’ living room using predominantly household objects and a macro lens to take the viewer on a journey to another galaxy. Everything seen in the videos is real with unedited colours and largely in real time, including Moon Rising which was filmed in one shot. The series can be viewed as individual songs, or as a beautiful 18-minute short film that lasts the duration of the EP below.
