KALTBLUT is excited to host the video for Degrees of Freedom’s latest 90s infused vocal house anthem, ‘Without You’. A new name on the scene but not new to the game, Degrees of Freedom are a multi- genre band fusing the sounds of singer Kyo (Isha Campbell) and producer Break (Charlie Bierman). Regarded as one of the top Drum n Bass producers, Break has released countless tracks on all of the scenes main labels, and has released three albums and several singles on his own label Symmetry Recordings. Kyo is a singer songwriter, who’s vocal skills saw her scouted by majors as a teenager, but chose to follow her dream as a solo performer and writer. Her forthcoming solo album “Rhythmic Silence” has been several years in the writing, featuring her unique style of acoustic guitar with soulful folk vocals. Hit play and enjoy the instant summer hit!
The band’s debut Dub/Reggae release ‘Children Of The Sun’ received strong support on Radio 1 with multiple plays from Rodigan and Toddla T. Selling out on 7 inch vinyl, with Dj Support from: Aba Shanti-I, Vivek, Young Warrior and Jack Who Dem Sound. Their second release ‘Without You’ is a vocal house track, is out now on their own imprint – Degrees Of Music, featuring remixes from Kosheen and Oakm. Playing live shows featuring Vocals, Dub Delays, DJ, and live guitarist Mace, their recent show at the BBC6 Music Festival for Who Cares @ Lakota Bristol received great feedback. The band also perform DnB gigs as Break & Kyo Live, with past shows including the main stage at Outlook Festival 2015 and many U.K. clubs
