Video Premiere: Strand Child – ‘Machines’

Hailing from Berlin, Germany, is an indie band of like-minded, international musicians, creating a cohesive and current blend of various musical influences. In Strand Child’s sound, one can find lessons learned from 70s power-pop, a hint of late 80s experimentation, as well as the unbreakable loyalty to 90s slacker-pop. This, combined with passion and creativity of each individual member, results in a sound totally unique and relevant to the state of the genre today. Perfectly complimenting their laid-back, fuzzy, Californian sound is today’s video premiere for ‘Machines’; a beautifully shot live session of Mario, Hilding, Marian and Christophe, drenched in the forest’s soft summer rays. Also, in celebration of cassette day on October 8th, Späti Palace will release Strand Child’s next EP especially on a 6 track split tape with Celsius Panda – keep your eyes peeled!
