Viviane Sassen is a dutch artist and photographer. She studied fashion but turned to photography, and now mixes personal work with commercial and commissioned photography. Typically, her photographs contain everything but stereotypical African elements and often focus on abstract or entangled bodies. She says ““You should always be able to judge a photograph on different grounds, on political, social, emotional, but also on personal grounds.” People say that Viviane’s work transcends fashion and becomes art.
