Werner Pawlok on LUMAS!
Lumas Berlin – Friedrichstrasse shows from 19 October – 04 November 2012, for the first time, an exclusive exhibition of the photographer Werner Pawlok and his series “Cuba-expired”, with which he trails the old, original Havana.
The visitor is taken with him on his journey through the different times and decades in which luster, unimaginable splendor and joy of life but also decay and poverty are closely interrelated and inspire the wistful charm of this metropolis. The wonderful portrait work in his series “Photography Paintings” can also be seen, work that helped Pawlok to win international fame. Their poetic appearance and developed technology skillfully blur the line between photography and painting.
