Aesthetica Concept – open call for fashion film submissions

Aesthetica Concept, a boutique fashion film platform which launched during the recent London Fashion Week, has an open call for its inaugural annual selection with a deadline of June 30th 2020. Entries can be submitted using this link:

Filmmakers, designers, agencies, labels and students are invited to submit their fashion films and compete in two categories: Best Fashion Film and Best Green Fashion Film. Shortlisted and winning films, selected by an international industry jury, will be featured and showcased at pop up events (date TBC) and online via the web platform.

The platform ran by Tena Glaser and Martina Ratkovic, which has already received numerous films from countries and cultures, stems from Ireland and Croatia and is a fusion of worldwide aesthetics in film.

“We are looking for fresh and edgy aesthetic regardless of its intention; whether created for a student project or a large brand, as long it makes a viewer react, inspire or brings an array of emotions.”

Aestethica Concept is a showcase of how fashion, film, lifestyle and technology are coexisting and blending to create unique visionary experiences. The project is here to inspire conversation on how advertising and film work together to create a fashion audiovisual product that goes beyond the mere advertisement of television or the traditional lookbook.

The platform also tackles the ecological impact of the fashion industry, as well as sustainability issues portrayed by industry artists which will be presented through the Green Fashion Film category.
