#SaveTheDate – An ongoing event till 23.12.2022! PHANTAZONiA curated 30+ Berlin creatives to transform Holzmarkt’s Säälchen venue into an alien universe with 11 surreal, intergalactic worlds. PARALLEL PORTAL is an 11-day immersive art exhibition and performance experience filled with interactive installations, captivating set designs, 3D soundscapes, and a space bar with non- and alcoholic drinks.
PARALLEL PORTAL – the experience: Imagine ascending into a magical and mesmerising intergalactic funhouse that welcomes earthlings of all ages, races, orientations and mindsets.
A dazzling colourful wormhole sucks visitors up to the 2nd floor, where a Cyber Avatar prepares you for the Space Odyssey ahead.
Then you enter the mouth of a ceiling-high Alien Head to reach the portal’s crystal-powered energy source. Here you have access to multiple dimensions:
the Blacklight Goddess Universe, Crystal Coral Jungle, and A.I. (Alien Intelligence) Oracle.
The Inter-dimensional Creature Cave Bar full of webs, blobs, seating and potions invites a refuelling stop. The Xenomorph Altar enables all to create (and worship) their own cosmic space idols, totems and deities out of clay and engage in quests to unlock other parts of this Universe. Your trip ends with a Kaleidoscopic Wormhole that transforms visitors into peaceful Earthlings who may blissfully float home. Or next door to Holzmarkt’s Christmas market to extend your stay and further acclimatise to this planet called “Earth-616”.

Every visit is unique, because of changing performers who interact live with each guest’s individual reaction, playfulness and openness. It’s a warm, loving and memorable experience for singles, couples, families and groups who want to relax their souls, step into multiple interactive and living artworks – and leave as a transformed and happier person.
Phoenix Rose (they/them), Founder & Creative Director/Producer: “Behind our colourful and playful art is a mission to preserve the environment and create financial stability for creatives. For every PHANTAZONiA event, we collaborate with new artists from LGBTQIA+, POC, and other marginalised communities who we ask to up-cycle, reuse old materials in new ways, and design with zero-waste principles.”
PHANTAZONiA – the creative collective: Phoenix Rose and Stevie Stevie are the core team, Creative Directors and Producers of PHANTAZONiA, which they founded in 2021. Together they cast and curated many creatives for international art installations and live performances, e.g. in Berlin, Lisbon, Barcelona, on Boom, Wilde Möhre & Lusatia festivals. Before PHANTAZONiA, both honed their art skills in other projects together and individually in separate art collectives all over the USA and Europe. 3 years ago, Stevie founded the immersive Berlin art collective “Dream World”, which gained widespread recognition and success. Phoenix’s degrees in psychology and anthropology enable them to design art experiences which provoke deeper connections with audiences. Their creative work spans and combines many disciplines, e.g. circus, theatre, dance, installation art, set design, and artistic direction.
