Collezione Notte Horror – Parte II

Halloween sounds are spooky and dark. Haunting instrumentals, creepy sound effects, we have the perfect soundtrack for you – for a trip through a haunted house. Selected by Franz Scala! Collezione Notte Horror – Out via Slow Motion. The concept was founded in 2005 during a time in which Italy was experiencing an Italo Disco and Protohouse music vacuum. After a stretch of playing countless events and festivals across Italy and Europe, in 2009 Franz Scala and Fabrizio Mammarella decided to found Slow Motion Records.

Franz Scala’s sets are as diverse as the music he curates as label head of Slow Motion. Weaving smoothly between Italian Dance and Psychedelic Disco House, Franz quickly turns the dance floor into a vignette-tainted retro nostalgia rave fueled only by his music and liters of Cuba Libre he likes to consume whilst behind the decks. Born in Pescara, Italy and now a resident of Berlin for nearly a decade Franz has his roots in noise and industrial rock but was led by the record collectors passion into acquiring a taste for modern and not so modern dance floor music.

Now based between Italy and Berlin, Slow Motion is a purveyor of the best Italian producers from London to Shanghai, and New York to Milan. The label elevates the Italian dance music at all latitudes, whilst remaining true to the heritage and feels of the vibe that has filled dance floors for the last 30 years. This style has attracted producers around the world who have inherited the movement and made it their own, conceiving of Slow Motion international sister label Wrong Era. In essence, Slow Motion is authentic and innovative.
