#Lookbook – The Italian sportswear brand ellesse and the British designer Liam Hodges have joined forces for the first time for a joint capsule collection for AW19. Inspired by the ellesse Winter Sports Archive, the collection plays with alpine colours and geographical map outlines and features a unique combination of ellesse Heritage skiwear designs combined with Liam Hodges’ excellent futuristic style. The AW19 campaign will also be unveiled at the start of the new autumn/winter season. To reflect the futuristic look of the Capsule Collection, the campaign shows space motifs in an alpine setting, celebrating the collection theme.
The campaign was shot by Liam Hodges’ creative team in Zakopane, Poland. The keylooks of the collection can be seen on a specially designed snowmobile against a wintry backdrop created by CGI artist Jonathan Vuillemin. Violet shades and metallic surfaces complement the range of grey and steel blue colours in the collection.
The prints are based on microscopic details of snow and above all the clothing and the custom-made motocross helmet underline the ultra-modern collection theme.
