Fresh Out Of The Oven: The Black Eyed Peas – Yesterday

The Black Eyed Peas dropped a new song titled “Yesterday” onto iTunes Music. And I am in love with the new track! “We’re paying homage to the folks that inspired Black Eyed Peas,” Will.I.Am told Zane Lowe on Beats 1 in a new interview. To celebrate their 20-year anniversary, BEP dropped their new tune, “Yesterday,” and an accompanying music video exclusively on iTunes Music. The hard track will surely excite old school Peas fans, highlighting Will.I.Am’s iconic BEP rapping skillz while futuristic synthy production bops along. They also sample classic records like Onyx’s “Slam,” ODB’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” N.W.A.’s “Straight Outta Compton,” Wu-Tang’s “Killa Bees,” and Beastie Boys’ “Paul Revere.”. Most noticeably absent is Fergie, who is currently working on dropping a record of her own.
