Milan Fashion Week. Gucci’s new creative director Alessandro Michele presented his first womenswear show for the house. Everyone was curious about in which direction Michele will take Gucci for cooling the brand. His menswear debut in January, which he created in just five days, followed an adrogynous look and also the womenswear collection for Fall Winter 2015 continued to blur the gender lines.
Allessandro Michele dressed almost unkown models in his interpretation of a new modern Gucci Woman and wanted to make this collection feel disconnected from the world. Let’s see if the customers will understand Gucci’s new language. For me the collection is kind of disappointing and i miss the sleek, sexy glamour look of Gucci.
