The French Skateboard brand Hélas launches its Spring/Summer 2020 collection. This time, the brand decided to take us on a trip back to the good old days where we didn’t have much to worry about. helascaps.com
The professional skateboarders, Lucas Puig, Stephen Khou and Clement Brunel who founded the label decided to take us on a trip back to the good old days of our youth.
This collection reflects a lifestyle rather than just a simple trend. It blends perfectly sportswear with ready-to-wear to create styles that are effortless and timeless. This season’s selection includes pieces that are both very practical and relaxed at the same time. The “Gang” full black & full camo tracksuits are standing out as much as the pyjama pants with the sunshine prints on it. The collection also gathers a series of more classical graphic pieces such as t-shirts, hoodies and accessories with the iconic Hélas umbrella logo. Faithful to their love for original accessories, HÉLAS has created a card deck that will be available too.
The lookbook was shot by Maxime Verret in a mall located in the Parisian suburb. It highlights the carefreeness of the youth and offers a series where the brand’s affiliated skateboarders are here to infringe the consumer society, its rules and its domination. The collection will be available this Wednesday, May 20th on helascaps.com
