ICEBERG Spring/Summer 2020

#LFWMEN – Back on UK soil, ICEBERG returns to LFWMs to fill the Sibling sized hole left in our eccentric hearts, serving us loud and proud knitwear in a neon riot that splashes and flashes in all the right places.

Producing an army of Brit tribes, creative director James Long reinvents the South Kensington Goths and Kings Road punks for SS20 starting things off with a pop art explosion from ICEBERG X PETER BLAKE, the first in a series of collaborations under the ICEBERG ART DENIM umbrella. Finding Blake’s Babe Rainbow and Amerika artworks plastered across shirts, knits and full head-to-toe ensembles.

The mixing and combining of influential youth tribes continued in ‘Le Goth Sportif’ taking inspiration from the late 80s/early 90s blending elements from both Brit sports cliques and punk gothic gangs. We got everything from the classic oversized Iceberg sweats to playful Loony Tune cartoon prints and a boyish rocker zipped sleeve jacket and matching bondage trousers showing a sexier, more adult approach. Now there’s a Brit Rebellion I can get behind. /
