Dylan van Vliet is a photography student at the Photoacademy in Amsterdam, Netherlands. After a year full of depressions Dylan decided that he deserved a gift. Soon the idea came of giving himself a new photo project, ‘It’s my fucking birthday’. Dylan needed some light in his life.
“Making this project was real fun, yet the melancholy slipped through. I’ve learned to embrace it, it’s who I am. A party with now and then some melancholy. ” The gift has become a book, which will see the world on 22 October, Dylan birthday. Because it’s his fucking birthday.
