Kyrö Launch #PantsDrunkTogether Campaign To Support Berlin Bars

This week, Finnish speciality distillery Kyrö launched their first “Kalsarikännit Mixing Session” with Susan Choi of Berlin bar Mr. Susan. This is the first in their #PantsDrunkTogether series where you can support your favourite local bar, as they have supported you numerous times through the highs, the in-betweens, and most likely, lows. Each week, Kyrö will feature one of their favourite bartenders in the mixing sessions, where they teach us how to make a cocktail that is easily re-created at home. Oh, and they’ll be doing it in their underwear (did I forget to mention that “Kalsarikännit”  is the Finnish word for “drinking alone at home in your underpants”?). During the week that the bartender is featured, Kyrö will be donating a part of the proceeds from every bottle of Hand Desi hand sanitiser sold from the webshop to their bar.

This week Kyrö will be hosting a pop-up at Mr. Susan’s – on Friday and Saturday (May 29th and 30th) from 3pm – 8pm. Susan will be making a special drink with Kyrö Gin, beet, and Dutch cacao and she’ll also be cooking (kimchi pancakes – vegetarian and carnivore available – that are served with a rye sauce). They’ll be selling Gin & Tonic and Gin & Juice to-go packages and customers can also buy bottles for the home bar and Hand Desi hand sanitiser (again – part of the proceeds go right back to Mr. Susan).

Fancy trying it out at home? We’re offering a G&T package (includes 1x 500 ml Kyrö Gin as well as 2x 500 ml Schweppes Dry Tonic Water), one of their specially made Hand Desi hand sanitisers, and a pack of the Kyrö X Mähöne Long Johns. To enter email win@kaltblut-magazine.com and tell us about your best gin cocktail you’d like to create. Please note that you must be 18 or over to enter.
