In collaboration with international independent designers and artists, STUDIO183 is launching its ONLINE HANGOUTS event to support different artists and designer affected by the current situation around the COVID-19. Through a series of Online Hangout Series, artists will stream from their studios, atelier and creative spaces!
Tune in to EIRINN HAYHOW’S ‘stay home’ hang out. The Gender- Fluid, zero-waste designer will be playing dress-up in her living room with some of her key pieces sold at Studio183, talking to you about her processes, philosophy and brand story.
‘See the beauty in everything, Find the light in the darkness’, EIRINN HAYHOW reimagines our waste materials into high-vibe garments, an exquisite juxtaposition of trash and couture, vintage and contemporary, she deconstructs traditional shapes into punk glamour!
Garments are stamped with her unique painterly artworks and motifs; influenced by “absurdities found in nature.’ like smiling faces in chewing gum on our concrete streets. They thrive with serotine fuelled colours, salvaged and natural fibres, mainly naturally dyed from vegetable waste.
She will also be doing a short introduction to natural dyeing techniques, a taster of a video series that she is launching on Instagram next week, to keep people motivated and creative at home during the apocalypse!
