90s Björk is my all time favourite. ‘Venus As A Boy’ was released as the second single from her 1993 album debut, and was inspired by a boy who saw everything from a “beauty point of view”. The video was directed by the British music video director Sophie Muller and shows Björk creating a right good fry-up in a cute little kitchen. The initial video idea was actually inspired by the singer’s favourite book ‘Story of the Eye’. Though the single received mixed reviews and never made it big in the charts, there are more than 30 covers of ‘Venus as a Boy’ by other artists. And well, if you don’t like this song then you’re a little bit evil.
