Ticket Giveaway: Lost Few ‘Between the Silence’ in 4DSOUND & Tommy Four Seven

Lost Few is the audio-visual project of David Thomson, an experimental artist based in Melbourne, Australia. Fusing his relationship with the physical form, which includes found sounds from the Buchan Caves in Victoria and the Tasmanian wilderness, his debut artist album showcases ambient techno, disturbed electronics, processed instrumentation and sub-bass experiments, leading the listener to a journey that traverses a world possessing a sharp, dissonant edge. On June 5th you’re invited to experience the album re-imagined in 4DSOUND. Following the performance, Tommy Four Seven will be joining in the bar for an intimate DJ set. Win tickets to the event by emailing win@kaltblut-magazine.com.

Following the release of his debut album, Primate released on Chris Liebing’s CLR imprint in 2011, the British born Berlin-based artist Tommy Four Seven has remained at the forefront of the underground techno scene. Never compromising and always striving to move forward sonically, he has since launched 47, a record label and creative platform, formed in 2015 with artistic visualisation by Silent Servant.

The label has gone on to release works from revered artists such as Ancient Methods, Phase Fatale, SNTS, Headless Horseman and Oake. The 47 event concept tours regularly around the globe including nights at Concrete in Paris, Fuse in Brussels, KHIDI in Tbilisi and Village Underground in London.
In 2016, Tommy launched Numerology, a multi-room event concept, located deep in the vaults of a former coin factory in Berlin, allowing Tommy to further express his vision of techno. The three unique events to date have featured diverse line-ups including the likes of Broken English Club, Demdike Stare, Paula Temple, Shackleton and Surgeon.

Formed in 2012, Tommy’s experimental collaborative project, These Hidden Hands has since released two albums, These Hidden Hands (2013) and Vicarious Memories (2016). The group have collaborated with vocalist, Lucrecia Dalt and have been remixed by artists such as Roly Porter, Kangding Ray and Telefon Tel Aviv. Live performances have included Berlin Atonal, Berghain and ReWire Festival.

2019 marks 15 years of DJing professionally in clubs and his powerful yet dynamic and eclectic take on Techno sees Tommy perform regularly worldwide. Notable highlights include closing Berghain in Berlin and Katharsis in Amsterdam as well as special all night long sets at venues such as Concrete in Paris.

In April 2019, Tommy will release his second album, Veer on 47 and the LP sees him further refine his disruptive take on Techno, marking the label’s 20th release. To celebrate the new LP, Tommy will embark on an extensive album tour including dates at Shelter in Amsterdam, Revive Festival in Warsaw, Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, HEX in Barcelona, WAS in Utrecht and Knockdown Centre in Brooklyn.
