Vincent by Tim Burton (1982)

Monday Short Movie! The grandmaster of mainstream horror also started as a rookie once and for one of his first shorts he created his alter ego Vincent.

Vincent is a  Edgar Allen Poe reading seven year old boy, who’s lost in his depressing illusions.

397722632_a04378cfefAfter Burton finished college he started at the Walt Disney Studio as an animator and got frustrated soon, because none of his work pieces made it to the screen. In the end he made it with this unique illustration of a poem, spoken by horror movie legend Vincent Price.
