Iconic silhouettes reinterpreted – Wrangler celebrates its revolutionary and iconic designs with the ICONS collection. For the Spring/ Summer 2019 season Wrangler reflects on his legendary roots and translates his classics with new interpretations into the here and now.
A mix of nostalgic silhouettes and iconic motifs characterises the new look. The signature of the collection lives on bonds from the high school sportswear of past decades. The creations are Wrangler’s very own understanding of retro, with a deep, authentic spirit dedicated to today’s zeitgeist.
Western shirts in classic cowboy denim, T-shirts with striking graphics, decorative paisley patterns and the nostalgic eagle find their way back into the collection.
Inspirations of the eighties are translated into bat sleeves of sweatshirts, cropped T-shirts, tank tops as well as the new jeans model in balloon-shaped silhouette. The highlight of the collection is the loud tiger emblem and floral motifs on western shirts and denim. With roots dating back to Greensboro, North Carolina in1904, Wrangler was launched in 1947. With a unique heritage and a lot of responsibility for the classic all-American look, Wrangler’s Icons collection combines the coolness of the West with retro sportswear for a dynamic 80s vibe – a modern interpretation of vintage Americana.
