Based in Paris for almost 6 years, Yannis, self-taught, began his career alongside photographers like Bruno Juminer, Alistair Taylor Young, Ralph Mecke as assistant-photographer. He will later assist several photographers in editorial and advertising. It’s during these six years of assistantship that Yannis will develop these skills in light and in the coordination of a team through fashion and beauty.
Along with this field learning, Yannis specializes in fashion through modeling agency testing. The models highlighted by the latter are then still drawn in iconic ways like the heroines of cinema. This visual approach then appears as the guiding thread of his work combining quest for perpetual movements and cinematic inspirations.
