Golden Goose Deluxe Brand, the Venetian brand founded fifteen years ago, enriches the special events programme of the 91st Pitti Immagine Uomo by organising a celebratory evening for the 10th anniversary of its iconic sneaker, whose vintage inspiration, artistic references and urban trend make it an expression of uniqueness and research.  The event organised at the historical Stazione Leopolda in Florence draws inspiration from the world of skateboarders and the characteristic U.S. skateparks, as emphasised by the declaration of intent on the sneakers’ internal labels: “For skateboard use only. Golden Goose Deluxe Brand therefore chooses, once again, a new, unconventional method of communication, one that combined its sneakers’ “used & lived” aesthetic with the values of artisan tradition, timeless design and distinctive quality of a product that is wholly designed and made in Venice.
The event included a number of high-visual-impact live performances, plus the screening of a new video illustrating the background to the sneaker’s “distressed” effect, which revolutionised the perception of a sportswear article and turned it into a must-have for the new casual-luxury generation. The scenery for the event will turn Stazione Leopolda into an extraordinary stage for the new 10th Anniversary Capsule Collection, an exclusive re-edition of the first Superstar model.
