Kristine Wathne is a young artist from Norway. She is currently studying art photography, and usually works with street photography, shooting characters and interesting objects/subjects. Balancing on the mix of the grotesque and pure beauty. Her images are kind of “in your face”, documentary images that expose for better or worse. Touching, offensive, provocative and disturbing at the same time. She is fascinated with the whimsical world she portrays.
Shit Shitty! is a series of photographs of the artist’s friends and some self portraits while exploring and focusing on humans and expressing her view of surroundings, reality, and their daily actions by photographing it.
