Introducing the band RÁN and the brand new video for “Hunt Like Lions”. RÁN, this is the new promising project of Laura Landergott (Ja, Panik) and Yair Karelic. Named after the dangerous and unpredictable sea goddess, the duo combines 60’s rock’n’roll with psych elements. This creates a sound reminiscent of Alan Vegas Band Suicide, and almost feels like watching an Alejandro-Jodorowsky movie through an aquarium. In the Huntlike Lions EP – out 16.11.2017 via 8MM Musik – mastered by Doug Henderson (Swans, Anthony and the Johnsons, Interpol), the duo dive under the atmospheric water surface, while a Laura Landergotts clear voice on land. It tells of personal as well as fictional experiences, which are arranged in a tension field of sexual and dramatic contents. An exciting balancing act with lots of drive is guaranteed.
