Over the course of many moons and countless Sundays, Kiesgrube became more than just a club; it was a sanctuary, an unforgettable chapter in my life that continues to inspire my love for electronic music.

In 2026, Kiesgrube proudly celebrates its 30th anniversary as one of the longest-running open-air clubs in Europe, marking three decades of unforgettable moments that have brought together passionate souls united by the love of music. Founded in 1996, this venue has consistently operated as a weekly open-air event, becoming a staple on the European electronic music scene. With a newly revamped L-Acoustics sound system and expanded dance areas, Kiesgrube is ready to welcome a new generation of revellers while honouring its rich legacy.

As they forge ahead into this landmark season, it’s impossible to overlook the profound sense of community that has always defined Kiesgrube. It’s about more than just big names. The space has nurtured countless friendships and unforgettable nights spent dancing until dawn. This ethos is beautifully captured in the lineup for this anniversary season, running from April through August, culminating in an epic closing celebration.
The festivities kick off on Sunday, April 19, with a Pre-Opening Open Air led by Maceo Plex. The official opening on May 1 sees international sensation Peggy Gou take the helm alongside Dennis Cruz, setting the tone for an explosive month. As the season unfolds, expect standout performances from the likes of WhoMadeWho, Black Coffee, and Amelie Lens, culminating in a monumental season closing on August 30 featuring Joseph Capriati and Mau P.
