Global pop star and songwriter Troye Sivan has officially kicked off his next musical era with the release of “She’s the Best,” the lead single and title track from his fourth studio album, slated for release on October 9, 2026. The launch marks Sivan’s first new release under his new label home at Interscope Records.
Co-written by Sivan alongside Leland, George Daniel (The 1975), Jack Antonoff, and Styalz Fuego, and produced by Daniel, Antonoff, Styalz Fuego, and Sivan—the track functions as both a celebration and an open declaration of gratitude. Conceptually, “She’s the Best” pays direct tribute to women, specifically honouring trans women, drag queens, and feminine-presenting individuals, highlighting the feminine energy that has continuously shaped Sivan’s life, creativity, and artistic identity.

The single arrives alongside a high-fashion visual directed by longtime collaborator Gordon von Steiner, who previously helmed Sivan’s Grammy-nominated videos for “Rush,” “Got Me Started,” and “One of Your Girls.”
Drawing aesthetic inspiration from 1980s queer New York, the film merges hyper-feminine visual tropes with classic editorial polish, sensuality, and fluid gender expression. Adding significant pop-cultural weight, fellow Australian icon Nicole Kidman makes a cinematic guest appearance, sauntering through the club landscape and seamlessly entering Sivan’s visual universe.
With over 15 billion streams, multiple Grammy nominations, and a career spanning from early EPs TRXYE and Wild to acclaimed full-lengths Blue Neighbourhood, Bloom, and 2023’s Something To Give Each Other, Sivan continues to operate at the intersection of pop music, visual culture, and queer storytelling. “She’s the Best” sets a clear, confident tone for what to expect from his upcoming LP this autumn.
