“Born and raised in the north of Spain. At the age of 24, I had a sort of revelation and left everything to go to Madrid to study fashion. I had never drawn a sketch, I had never studied art but I realised that fashion, and everything related to this field, in a way, had always been present in my life. Suddenly, it all made sense.
Life took me again down another path and I discovered styling and I instantly fell in love with it.
My Latin roots lead me to mix and merge foods all in the same dish, and the same thing happens to me with fashion. In search of the perfect formula, I mix colours, textures, styles, cuts… That’s is why I chose for this editorial the Spanish music band Aiko.
At the same time, they have a very punk and sweet sound which inspired me from the very beginning. All this led to the birth of this session’s aesthetics and sweet voices mixed with screams, electric guitars and drums. Heartbreak and harsh reality in their lyrics, wrapped in a halo of irony and fun. A very cute rawness.”
