“I´m a photographer based in Germany. After working nearly 20 years in fashion in another job, I started photography just recently. As I prefer an honest and uncompromising point of view, I‘m driven to get something out of my models, that might even surprise themselves. Born and raised in Germany, I grew up in a more or less romantic picture perfect. As I don’t believe in polished surfaces, I want to dig deeper and reveal what lies underneath. Unusual locations and a minimal team challenge my models to show me more than what they are usually asked for. My Model Henry Grey is a ballet dancer originally from New Zealand. after being in the National Staatsballett Munich he now moved on to Helsinki to join the national ballet as a first soloist.” *Alexander Courtman
