The last day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid is always for the new designers and emerging talent. My two favourites, which I am bringing you here, are Alineo and Bonet, both based in Valencia.

Alineo is a mermaid core brand with flares and layers of sheer. The movement is as ethereal as the fins of a fish bubbling down the water. We have mermaids and mermen besides some octopus-like creatures promenading, adorned with sparked and heavy accessories in silver or plastic.
Cute bags and narrow shapes that open in the trousers or the multiple endings of the dresses and sleeves create a flowy effect. Impacts the black catwalk with tye-dye yellows and pinks as well as all-black looks.
Bonet, on the other hand, is also depicted as a narrow-fitted brand. but the clothes are anguishing the body to the extreme. Micro-mini skirts with leather cords that leave the booty straight on sight, paired with bras that only cover the nipples. It is the Flow 2000 on the extreme. It is sexy and rock.
Nude colours or pinks evolve into greys to end up in blacks. All of them are decorated with thousands of crystals hanging. Some of them are drop-shaped, so the whole appearance seems wet. Jewellery is a collaboration with Uno de 50, a renowned Spanish brand of metallic jewellery. In this case, it gives the hard look, the heaviness to all that absence of clothing. Another detail!! Bonet dresses Bad Gyal, a Spanish baddie who happens to be a singer on her way to stardom.
After Bonet, a brand made me wonder what was I doing there, by showing a bunch of Cinderella´s meringue attempts of gowns on girls.
As I rather stay at home than watch nonsense, I addressed my ass in that direction.
Bye Bye Madrid, until the next one.
